Barb, sorry for the loss of your parents! I have transferred your mom's file to you.
When I had more time on my hands, I was trying to create files for all the on-line obits that listed the location of the final disposition, primarily cemeteries. I also, occasionally, take as many photos as possible and post.
The reasoning behind this is preservation of information, especially for genealogy research.

Hi Barb,
Your 2nd great-grandmother Mary Magdalena (Foehner) Dorschel is my 3rd great-grandmother. So it looks like we're cousins. I received the photo from my grandfather. I just added her daughter Mary Schantz to the database - thanks for the suggestion. There are some other long-gone aunts and uncles to add, so I have to get out my genealogy notes and make sure the details are right. If you'd like me to email you a photo of our Mary M.
