RE: Jesse Lee
Letty,
LDS search has alot of information compiled, if you haven't tried that. LDS has alot of Civil war records on the ones that served, including the documents for you to see. These are original docs signed and dated by the real person that was in that war. The doc also has their birth date, where they were born, and sometimes their immediate family on it, in which is all in their own handwriting. Doesn't cost anything, it is out there for the public such as us to help with our ancestry.
Yes, I too have had ppl copy paste my families information to their trees. Mainly pictures, birth and deaths. my Grandma Mann (bless her heart) lived to be 102 years young. I get a lot of my Mann, Clark,Price and Wallace and their extended family, such as births, deaths, marriages and hard times, this information is from her bible she left. Very thorough in what she wrote. And had seen alot since her birth in 1888.
Also someone had placed my mother Vera Maude Rhoades Mann on Find A Grave, had all the info wrong, right down to my fathers name on my mothers obit. I had made already my fathers Find A Grave and all my siblings, mom was the last death at that time. I contacted her and went through the Find A Grave procedures, as we are suppose to. She did not respond back. I waited 2 months and contacted Find A Grave, they transferred my mom to me. I was able to correct all on there, including my dad's name Chandos Marion Mann not Charles, as she had it.
It is a shame when someone puts info out there that is not correct. Not good for the descendants trying to get info on their past loved ones.

RE: Jesse Lee
if this helps Jesse Lee's parents were Joseph Lee and Annie Flowers Pittman, both were born in North Carolina. Joseph and Annie never left North Carolina. They died in Robeson. Jesse Lee is buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Castor, Bienville, Louisiana. Jessie is my ancestor through marriage. . Jessie and Elizabeth Dessie Yates Lee's daughter Alice Lee married Alfred Price, my 3rd great uncle. Skipping a few generations ahead, Sarah Catherine Price married Warren Reader Mann, they were my great grandparents. Alfred that married Alice is Reuben Ryan Price's son. Alfred was Sarah's great uncle.

A. J. McDaniel, Tifton, Ga
Thank you so much for the civil war info on A. J. McDaniel. I am not related...just a volunteer trying to identify all civil war veterans in Tift county, Ga in preparation for next year! So many are unmarked...have you applied to get him a monument? Has to be done by family member- with proof. You can see if one has ever been applied for on the veterans website on line.

A J McDaniel, tift co, ga.
Do you know if your relative, A.J. McDaniel of Zion Hope cemetery in Tift County, fought in the civil war? Dates would suggest yes, but I cannot find it. Not on obit in paper.

RE: Trilby Cemetery
Lettie Mae,
Good to hear from you. I am working with Scott Black on Trilby. I am transferring all but family, the Crofts, McLeods and Pitts to him. He is working very hard to add all he can on the people there. I will ask him and ask him to let you know. Mary Lynn said hello. If you want to take over your family be glad to transfer all of them.
Donna
