My interest in graveyards stated back in the early 1980's when I was assigned a cemetery study for a graduate class in gerontology. I was amazed at what you could learn by looking at the graves and inscriptions. For the past few years I have been dabbling in geneology research and stumbled across this site. I found my great grandparents gravestone through this site. With photography being a life long interest I thought I could "give back" and help others find their ancestors gravesites.
