I am a Crews researcher and I had a question or two for you. Might the Isaac Crews and Jonathan Crews found in the 1790 Census for the Old 96 District (Greenville) be sons of Richard Cruce? I ask as there is a John and Isaac Crews that came into Camden County, GA during the mid to late 1790s. I am thinking they are one in the same.
RE: Re Eddleman # 52596267 I doesn't matter to me either way, but I thought I'd mention that I typed out the obit and sent it to you because findagrave rules prohibit posting obits as pictures. (It's old enough to be out of copyright, so text is okay.) They will remove them if/when they find them. Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware.
John, Its great to know that there are people like you that value the memory of our ancestors. My late wife Rachel Elizabeth Herring Rhodes, a descendant of Miles VanBuren Mercer and Mary Elizabeth Russ Mercer, would be very grateful. Thank you Haynes Rhodes
