|Hi, my name is Andrew Hoornbeek. I found this site while doing some research on the Hoornbeek family to see who they were and where they came from. |
My grandfather passed away 2 months after i was born and i never got a chance to know him. There was another side of the family that i would have never known about it if it wasn't for Find A Grave.
I'm 26, live in Central ny and i joined as a way to give thanks and give back to the site. I'm also looking forward to checking out cemeteries as a way to get outside and get walking, maybe i'll lose some weight in the process.

Any chance you have an obit for him or his wife?

I was unable to connect that one at this time. It would have to be a connection above John.

d. Sep. 17, 1913
If you are referring to the above person I am not sure at this time. She was the wife of Alonzo Lybolt, his father was William E. Lybolt, 1815-1885, and I have not been able to connect him to my tree as of this time.

What year did she die?, with 10,400+ burials, that's a hard haystack to find a needle in. There's a book in the Oneida Library with Glenwood's burials, not sure what year it ends with. You could always ask the care taker who has all the burial records, he lives on the property, but he's on oxygen and I'm not sure of his condition lately.
I plan to start working on Glenwood after I finish St. Patricks & Oneida Castle. Good luck & happy New Year.

I am the great niece of Christian K Schramm and Martha F Schramm. I see that you made a memorial to them. They are buried in Margaretville Cemetery Annex. I would love a picture of their headstone or headstones if you could take one. I live in SE Georgia and will never make it to New York. Martha Schramm was the sister to my Grandmother.
Thank you for your help.
i gotta better pic for you sorry the first one wasnt as clear
