Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am married with 3 greats kids and a greater husband. We raised our family working as an LVN and with cable for 35 years. I spent 2 more years caring for my mom in the nursing home until she passed. Now I spend my time gardening, reading, genealogy, and now I have found this. Lucky me! Family names I am interested in include Williams, Matney, Price, Drybread, Hobbs, Collins, Nutt, Blackman, Polk and Hargis/Hargus.

Aunt Jewell
I forgot to mention that I have one Aunt still living. Jewell Brixey, she was the seventh child of the nine born to Susie's brother, Shelton Abel Collins. My dad was the eighth, Sterling Neal, he died in 2003, and Delmar the youngest died in 2008. She still lives alone but very near her daughter Patsy King.

Thank you so much for giving me this information. Reading her memorial helped solve one mystery I had encounterd. I had been told by one relative she had married a Hargis and one had told me she had married a Hanson. Appears they were both right. Today I had found Elias and Susie in 1910 census and seen he was quite a bit older than her and realized she probably had remarried. Anything you want to share about her family, please do so. You can directly email me at dkfranks56@yahoo.com. Your cousin, Kathy Franks

Susie J. Collins Hargis
I have been searching for Susie J. Collins for some time now. She was my grandpa Shelt's sister. I had located the resting place of all the thirteen brothers and sisters except her. Would you please let me know where she is buried.
You will find George and Sarah Emaline along with all of the children except Stella at Union Grove in Howell Co. Stella is at Dripping Springs in Howell Co. Stella's son, Bert, just died this week. You can find his obit on ozarkareanetwork.com. My apologies if I am giving you info you already have. But am so excited to find Elias. Their marriage license looked like Kargis. Anything you would like to share about her and her life, I would love to know.
