Nothing has changed. You still have the wrong birth and death date and place for the James Stewart who married Sarah Fleshman. This James was born between 1765-75 (no one knows actual date) and he died May 1 1835 in Greene Co, Indiana. Not only that but y-DNA testing has proved he was a Daugherty/Dority and not a Stewart. So, I removed the old post I had on his memorial and added a new one with this newer info on it of being a Daughety/Dority.

Drakemyre is in the parish of Dalry but I have James as being born in Beith. Is Drakemyre mentioned on his gravestone?

Thank you for your message, but there was just too much wrong. The James Stewart who died in Greene Co, Indiana 1835 was married to Sarah Fleshman. The James Stuart born 27 Feb. 1772 was married to Elizabeth Stockton and died in 1818, Mississippi. Besides that, it is a double entry as the James Moore Stuart of the same family was the correct son of Alexander Stuart born in 1772.
You need to remove all family of our James Stewart who died in Indiana exept for his wife Sarah, and son Nathaniel. Just get rid of his parents and siblings as that is wrong. And his date of birth is 1765-75 and unknown. His daughter Dorothy Stewart Fry is also at Find A Grave Memorial# 43546817.
Having our James Stewart, whose descendants are not the same DNA as Alexander Stuarts descendants, only keep the incorrect family info spreading.
Our Stewarts do have family matches and are DNA tested "R1b Group Type A5: R-M222. Probably Doherty originally." at the Stewart DNA project at the link below, which states they have Doherty y-DNA (Daugherty/Dougherty in our family tree.)

Thank you for recording something for 2nd Great Grandfather James Buck and for connecting him to his parents.
Please continue your fine efforts in helping us all find our family members and getting them connected.
Onward we travel,

All of the records I have been able to find indicate Harold was buried in Logan City Cemetery. Is his grave simply not there anymore?

These have been recorded as taking place at All Saints Churchyard Wingrave. The Church in Wingrave is dedicated to SS Peter and Paul and has an entry under that name on this site. There is an All Saints church at the nearby village of Wing which may have caused the confusion.
My name is Wendy and Wendell was my grandfather. I am curious who you are and how we are related?
Would like to hear from you.
