01/12/2014: I believe I am completely caught up with Find-A-Grave corrections. Because I am no longer living in Lyon County, I have transferred almost all of the Maplewood/Memorial Lawn memorials to amazing FindaGraver Becky Doan, who is regularly at the cemetery and better equipped to do any research you might need.|
I fell in love with cemeteries when I moved to a small Midwestern town and realized the town's entire history really was buried in one place.
My first book, SHADOW ON THE HILL: THE TRUE STORY OF A 1925 KANSAS MURDER, about the murder of Coffey County farmwife Florence Knoblock, was released in 2013.

Find A Grave Memorial# 59442049
I am the author of a website www.mkwe.com/home.htm dedicated to the memory of the 16th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War regiment. You have posted a photo of the gravesite of one of the 16th OVI's soldiers, William Alman, Memorial# 59442049. I am asking your permission to present that photo on my website in the Laid To Rest section. My website is 100% non-commercial and for the research and enjoyment of those interested in the 16th Ohio or Civil War in general. Please let me know if it is ok to use the photo. Also, thank you
for your work in documenting and posting the gravesites of our ancestors!

Please correct her father the one listed has the wrong name and was born after her. Her correct father is Gilbert Strong b. 3/2/1770 d. 6/12/1861 #10382019. Thanks for all your help.

My sister and I have been trying to determine the family of our great-great grandmother, since the 1990's at least! We finally found them thanks to lots of detective work. George W Harris was her father!! Your efforts have helped us find more of our precious family. And right there in Coffey County, KS where they got married!
Thank-you so much!
You are so easy to work with and I appreciate all your help. (your recent Stinson plot updates)
Thank you! I appreciate all that you have done on Find A Grave, your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed!
|Ann Gardner||Asa Pieratt|
Hello again ---- I sent some links for Asa in August. Please let me know if you need them again. He shares a gravestone with his mother, Margret Pieratt and a memorial has been added for both of his parents.

I enjoyed your book.
|Dorothy Snow||RE: My Father Armin Ulfert Deye|
Thank you Diana. What a fine service you provided by posting the picture. I don't know why I would want to have it changed to my name? What would that mean? What kind of responsibility would be involved?
Thanks for asking.
|Teresa Germann-Garside||RE: O'marra children|
Sure! Maybe you can ask them if they know about any relations with the Germann Family in Hartford. Thanks a lot!
