John, that's just great. I'm so happy for you. How did you happen to locate his obit? When and where did he die? Memorialize him on findagrave.com in case there's some others also searching for him.

Hi John, no I never did. I'm glad you were able to locate her. Joseph Ogden was actually shot in the head by what was then called "a crazy old man". I still have to add his obituary. How did you finally find Wilbur's wife?

Hello cousin John! If I'm not wrong we both descend from William Henry Ogden. I believe (although I haven't any proof that I can remember) that Wilbert died in Buffalo, New York. I have been trying to proof that for years as I've tried to run down all of William Henry Ogdens children. I know you have emailed with cousin Ruth Waite and she's in the same situation as I am. I haven't forgotten Wilbert and will continue to look for him. I hope all is well with you. I know you have seen all that I have on Wilbert, including his WWI draft record and border crossing information. Right now I can't remember where I got his death date. I'll have to look into that.
