Hi again Anita, I'm with you, I think all the data supports this being William's father. I just want to add one thing, I have seen his stone. The name is Archa Wagoner, like it is spelled on the 1870 census. If you would drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, I will send you a photo via your email.
Very exciting, FindaGrave is a ton O fun!

Hi Anita, I just created a memorial for Archa Wagoner here in Mason Co Illinois.
I was looking at his census records and trying to track his children.
I am wondering if your William Taylor Wagoner might be his son.
Archa's memorial is 100114155.
I think this is the Archa Wagoner that lists his birthplace as MD, lived in Indiana in 1860, and here in Mason Co IL on the 1870 census. He was married to a Susannah/Susan and had a slew of sons.
I would love to hear what you think.
All the best, Debra

That was a pleasant surprise!

There are quite a few Jones' at Wilson's Cemetery. On our next trip, in a few days, we will concentrate on them.

We have been unable to locate this grave. There is an unmarked grave beside Nancy C Jones, memorial # 20354118. Could this be Henry Jones?
