Sorry about the delay. Everone in my house had come down with some sort of flu bug. Anyway, I do not have a source. I got the information from my cousin. She has spent the last 20 years researching and documenting our family tree

The daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth named Mary Susan Bankston is number 53534483. She married Benjamin Franklin Ashley.
Her death date is not on her stone, but it is 20 Oct 1948; I have her death certificate. The date should be inscribed soon.
I don't know how to link her memorial into the list of her siblings that you have??? I don't manage her memorial.
|KRichardson||RE: Bankston graves|
I am; my tree is marked private, though, so i am not sure you can find it. I don't have a lot of info there. I am going to the archives next week I hope. I will look and see if they have any archived info in more detail; I am going to look and see if benjamin's medical license info is there and what all it says beyond what is on the Adams co website.
I have been searching for several years for the very graves you just listed in Dec 2015 in Natchez!!
Narcissus Elizabeth Smith Bankston no. 156258583
China A. Bankston no. 156259525
Missouri Adeline Bankston no. 156259757
Benjamin Moseley Bankston and Narcissus Elizabeth Smith were my 3Xs GGrandparents.
Do you have photos of these? Did you see them? Are the descriptions like "Daughter of Benjamin Mosley Bankston and Narcissia Elizabeth Smith" on the headstones?
Sorry for the bombardment of questions. :)
I live about 5 hours from Natchez or I'd just run go look because I'd love to have photos.

I think there were two Lela's. Not for sure but my thinking is this:
On the 1900 census William Jefferson Meadows and Martha Sylvana Meadows were married for 6 years and had three children: Leila F. born in Nov. 1893, Anderson born in 1896, and Kate born in 1898.
On the 1910 census, there were 5 children listed:
Lela, age 15, born approx. 1895
Anderson, age 13,
Katie, age 12
Orange, age 9
Carrie, age 7 (my great-grandmother!)
The 1910 census also said Sylvana had 6 children but 5 were living.
((Audelle and Eugene weren't born until 1911 and 1913 so they weren't on 1910 census of course))
If my info is correct, the 2nd Lela is Mary Lela Meadows Womack, married to Willis Hardin Womack. ON Willis Hardin Womack JR's social security death index is says his mother is Mary Lela Meadows. But I have not idea where she is buried. I haven't found her on find-a-grave. It could be that her gravesite isn't photographed. I've actually never made the trip to that area. So I'm not sure.
|Cassie Lindsey||RE: Lelia Meadows|
I checked my ancestry family tree and I don't have her death date or burial info. I do have that Willis Harden Womack was her husband and he is buried in Florence, MS in Rankin County. Maybe that helps? I will have to research this out a little more and let you know what I find.
