Who says two old genealogist cannot work together? The "Andrews" part of this team loves to fish and hunt. So what does he do in the middle of the day when the fish are not biting or the elk and deer are bedded down in the shade? He pulls out his camera and goes hunting for old cemeteries and their treasures of information. So far he has shot pictures in northern Nevada (fishing), all over eastern Idaho (hunting and fishing), southern and middle Montana (fishing) and all the way up to Alaska (salmon fishing).|
When he returns, the catch (pictures not fish) is given to the "DRPoole of Idaho" part of this team and he enters them into find-a-grave.
Now, there is something wrong with this picture! One goes fishing, hunting, camping, and picture taking and the other one sets in front of a computer! Well, sometimes they go fishing together.
Who says genealogy is boring! (See City of Klawock Cemetery)
Unfortunately, we can make errors, so if you find an error, or if you have additional information on anyone we've entered into find-a-grave, please contact us so we can make necessary changes.

I had forgotten about the flood of 1976 and the factor that it may have played in locating his burial. Thank you for your efforts- they are greatly appreciated!

What a surprise when I received your response, I cannot express my appreciation.
Yes, I continue to look for Henry Patterson, he seems to have vanished from all record books. Unfortunately there are no surviving members of my family who new any details about his life in the US. Since I wrote the original note I have been able to determine his middle name was Moody / Moodie.
He apparently did keep in touch with a nephew, since his one son carries the middle name of Moody. The nephew has since past and the son named Moodie is in his seniors years and has no idea why his parents assigned that name to him. Our family was very dedicated in naming their children from early generations.
Whatever you may uncover, whether good or bad, please forward.

I came upon an old headstone with a name of Henry Patterson, in the Lima Cemetery. I am a family member trying to locate where he settled in the US upon arrival from the Gaspe Bay area in Canada. The date of birth matches and the date of death could be accurate, in reference to his siblings age at their time of death.
My question, could you provide me any information as to where I could locate any specific details of family ?
Thanking you in advance, I appreciate whatever information you maybe able to share.

Thank you for the great photo of his headstone. I had thought it would take awhile to get one and it didn't thanks to you. I appreciate your time.

I completely understand that you cannot take the photo request when there is snow on the ground. Whenever you can do it would be great and I would be thankful. Thank you.

The picture of my mother's headstone is beautiful. You are doing a great service to us the living as we remember those who have gone before.
