Wells graveyard on River Road
I think you did a wonderful job restoring the cemetery. I was just reviewing the before and after pictures I have taken, and before you fixed it you couldnt even see it in the woods.

RE: Raynor graveyard, Manorville
Hi John, I found the direction to the grave yard on one of the LI genealogy sites, just by doing a google search of a relative's name that I couldn't find anything on. The first time I attempted to go alone and didn't realize it was down a path in the woods. I took my husband and son to research further and found it in disrepair. I tried to fix what I could but didn't bring the right tools to help the situation. I feel strongly about wanting to fix it up and asked my Dad, husband & son if they could go with me sometime to fix things. I wasn't sure if we were aloud to help fix it up, but my Dad reassured me that helping maintain it is a good thing. The day we were there taking pictures there were dirt bike riders riding down the power lines, which doesn't bother me, but you know stupid kids & adults go back there and destroy things and that bothers me. I will have to go by the one you fixed up to see if any of my people are in that one. I found another one that was in pretty bad shape called Cherry Valley Cemetery in Manorville. It's in a small development between two houses. It looked like they were dumping there yard waste in it.
