I live in the Dallas area. I found this site when trying to review records of my deceased family members. I am new to the photo volunteering but hope to help others to find the photos they desire as well.

God has truly blessed me and I plan to do what I can to bless others as well.

Donnie Sabo
Hi Kelly,
I just learned about Donnie's passing, so please accept my condolences, for Donnie, Mike and your mom.
I knew Donnie back in the day, when he was the guitarist for the band Maxx, along with bassist (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=stewart&GSmid=46550936&GRid=18020621&)Milan Stewart,(who also passed away in Houston in 2001) and "Rockin' Dave Alford on drums. They were a three-piece band who then added Chuck Thorne as lead singer. They were the house band for the "Happy Days Bar", which later became "Johnny's Cimmaron Club" on Texas Avenue.
There are still some songs that remind me of Maxx, everytime I hear them.
May I asked how Donnie passed? I've tried searching the web, but I guess too much time has passed since then.
Sincerely,
Evan

Tyson Family
Kelly,
Kate Hopkins Tyson was my great aunt, Phines was my first cousin once removed. If you get this message I would love to get in touch with you, I will try facebook. I have found some old photos that you would probably love to have or at least see. Oriole Birdie Hopkins Silk was Kate's sister and I am her granddaughter. I remember Daphne as a child.

Hi Kelly, My name is Thomas Fisher and I am a very old friend of Robert, Debbie, Mike and Donnie. I first met your father in 1973. I was visiting with my cousin, Caroline, who worked at the Rexall Drug store across the street from the courthouse in Shreveport, La. While there, Robert came in. Turns out he went to art school with Caroline. Sometime later I went to work for Beal's Department Stores. I worked in the advertising department where Robert also worked. I later lived with Robert and Debbie in Cedar Grove in a house next to Debbies aunt and uncle. It was about that time that Warren was born. Mike and I were very close friends as well. Donnie was a well known guitar player around town. Once we all left Beals, I moved around alot and lost track of them all. I had heard that Robert had moved to Dallas. Years later my mother showed me Debbies obituary in the Shreveport paper and of course I wondered what happened to her, Robert and Warren. I would often google Robert Tyson and Mike Sabo with no results. I now live more than half the year in China. My wife and I have been home a week and tonight again I googled Robert Tyson with no good result. Then I googled Deborah Sabo Tyson and found this page. I was very sorry to hear of my good friend Roberts passing and my buddy Mike's passing as well. I enjoyed looking at the family photos. BTW, I'm the "unknown" guy in the picture with Robert, Donnie, and Mike.

Permanent marker for Michael
Kelly,

John informed me of the installed permanent marker.

I will begin to add virtual flower (VF's) "Medals" to expound on his military service since we now have a verified source of information, to wit, the permanent grave marker. By Find A Grave rules, I can only add one per day. I will notify you when I am finished.

Regards,

JB BERRY

Hi, Kelly.
I heard from fellow member JB Berry today regarding photographing the permanent marker of your uncle Michael. Just an FYI, the permanent marker hasn't been installed yet--at least as of this past Monday. I've been checking it each week and will take a photo of the new marker as soon as it's installed.
Hope all is well with you.
:-)
Take care,
Sincerely,
John

Kelly,

Today, I have requested follow-up photography of Uncle Michael's permanent veteran tombstone, since there has been enough time for it to have arrived, and been installed.

Once photography has been completed, by your request, I will add virtual flower "Medals" to expound on his military service.

Regards,

JB Berry

I have located the memorial you sponsored of Michael.
Viewing it reveals it is a recent interment of August 12, 2010, with a temporary Veteran's grave marker. It takes normally 4-6 weeks from the interment for the permanent grave marker to arrive, and be installed.

It would be my honor to post his virtual medals once I can view the tombstone. I will make a note to follow-up your request. Kindly advise me of the installation of the permanent marker if you discover it first.

RE: thank you
:-)
Thanks for the nice note. Happy to help.
By the way, when I uploaded the marker photos I noticed they defaulted to the top of the page. Usually any grave/marker photos will upload beneath any "person" photos. But since you "own" the memorial it will let you change their order if you wish. Just click on one of the photos to enlarge it and I think it will have a link up toward the top of the page, called "Change sort order" which will allow you to put his "person" photo back on top if you prefer.
Take care,
John
