Thank you for getting back to me so soon. I would LOVE a picture of Ely and wife! And any other info on the McNew's that you have! Perhaps you could scan them and email if you are familiar with the process. Otherwise I would be happy to reimburse you for any mailing expense!
Could you send me the complete name and author of the book, I may be able to get it at my library! I think I told you William Henry McNew was my husband's g-grandfather. Oliver McNew, his son had 5 girls so there are lots of cousins around. We are all in AZ and interested in family Genealogy! I think the Bill McNew you spoke of may be Oliver's brother. Where do you live, in Alamogordo?
Let me know what your plan of action is, scanning or mailing. I anxiously await!
And again, thank you so much for getting back to me!
Doris #48048365 P.S. my email address is:
email@example.com That might be an easier way to correspond!

I'm the G-G-Grandaughter of Eli McNew #66388318 I saw the wonderful picture of him and wife on his memorial and noticed a page number.
Would you be so kind as to send me the name of the book and author. I would love to order it from my library and read it to see if I can come across any new clues regarding the family.
I would certainly appreciate it!!!!!
Thank you so very much!

Hi Hildegard! I wrote to you this summer asking about the Henley family, I don't know if you received it. Do you have any family info or pictures to share with me? My great grandmother was Clara Belle Henley Hyde. Also, I recently have been in contact with a family member who has Clara Belle's death certificate, it lists her mother as Francis Alcorn. Please let me know any info you might have regarding the Henley's.
Thank you, Teresa firstname.lastname@example.org

|Ulrike Kohns (Feder)||We have a family-relation|
I'm so happy- I found Grete Kleemann (Feder)
in a genealogical diagram, that my grandfather has drawned during his familyresearchs in 1940. There is a relation.
Sadly there is only recorded the year of birth (1906) - no other dates. According to the diagram she was married with Franz Kleemann and she has a brother, Hubert Feder, born 1908.
Her father is Julius Feder (born in 1873), his spouse is Elisabeth Bolz. This are your grandparents, right?
At the diagram you can see, that Julius Feder was one of six children:
Luise Feder (born in 1869) oldest sister (married with Alfred Toumar: no children
Gustav Feder (born 1870), married with Josefine Müller. 2 children: Hildegard Feder (born 1909) and Kurt Feder (born 1908). Hildegard was married with Alfred Jacoby, they have 2 childrens (Harald (born 1921) and Thomas (born 1924)
Maria Feder (1871), married with Heinrich Thoma, 4 children (Hans (without birthyear), Anneliese (born 1906) – the two other names I can't read)
Julius Feder (born 1873), married with Elisabeth Bolz, 2 children: Grete Feder (1906) married with Franz Kleemann and the son, Hubert Feder (1908)
Alfred Feder (1872), he was'nt married
Erich Feder (born 1876, Death 1928). He was married twice: with Helene Marlie, and after her death with Hannia Marlie. There is one son drawn in the diagram named Hans.
The parents of your grandfather are:
Maria Leusch (no dates in the diagram)
And Jakob Feder (1836-1909)
Jakob Feder is one of eight childrens of:
Maria Elisabeth Bornes
She is born in Eupen at the 07.10.1804 . (I have a lovely picture of her- I will send it). She died 28.02.1883 in Eupen and was married with Mathias Hubert Feder ( * 08.09.1803 Eupen, +27.8. 1862) They married in Eupen at the date of 04.05.1832.
These are my ancestors too:
Mathias Hubert Feder (he was a carpenter by trade) is my great-great-grandfather.
My great-grandfather is Julius Winand Feder (*7. Juli 1844, +18. September 1892), he was a merchant of wools
I have a printed list of our ancestors, but only of the direct line - father to son. The oldest known ancestor is Peter Fedder, born in Hasenfeld/Heimbach by Aachen circa 1700, + 14.10.1757 in Heimbach. He was a forester or ranger (i don't know the best Word for it)
I hope you enjoy this message.
If you can send me your adress for an real letter, i could copy the diagram (it is a great paper (DIN A3), then you can see by yourself the relation.
With a friendly hug
Ulrike Kohns (Feder)
