RE: Eli and Rhoda Corliss
I was finally able to view the cemetary books and records for the Corliss family. The only names listed are Stanley, Rhoda, Eli and Claude Corliss. Stanley had an individual marker, as well as his name on the big family one. The marker with the name mother belongs to Rhoda, and Claude has no inscription or headstone.
Sorry, there was no Amanda.

RE: Eli and Rhoda Corliss
I went back to the headstone today and found Stanley's name on the side of the headstone where Eli and Rhoda are inscribed. I didn't notice his name earlier, just the simple one on the ground. He was a young child when he died, born 1907 and died 1913. The headstone list him as R. Stanley. I see Claude is also in the records as being buried there, but there is no headstone or inscription with his name.

The office was close, so I was unable to look at the books to see if we can figure out who "mother" is. But I'll try and do it as soon as I can.

RE: Eli and Rhoda Corliss
I usually look to see if there are any graves with similar last names next to the one I am photographing. Next to Eli and Rhoda Corliss there were two plain markers, one with the name Stanley on it and the other just said Mother. Not sure who the mother is. I'll have to visit the office and see who this represents.

Nathan Jenks
I found this while looking for something else, typed it out and sent to the person doing maintenance on the memorial, but since then I saw you have a photo request, so I thought I would send it to you also.

Published in the Wyoming County Times Warsaw, N. Y. Thursday, December 14, 1893

Nathan S. Jenks died at his residence on Murray street on Saturday evening [Dec. 9, 1893] in the 55th year of his age. He was born at Java, and most of his life has been passed in Wyoming Co. He has been feeble with consumption for some time and death was not unexpected nor unwelcome. A wife is made lonely, four children mourn the loss of a father, and seven brothers and sisters survive him, among whom are Mrs. Lenord Tuttle of Perry and Mrs. Rufus Howard of Dale.

Linda the stone is the same as Marys it is tipped over and broken but could be repaired i think sometime in years past Cordelia's was repaired. i would need to look for records to confirm Timothy was military there is no mention of this in my cemetery books here...

It's a shame the light [too bright!] was so bad yesterday-on a dull day, the names are much easier to read.
