Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family for the past three years. I enjoy every minute. I am working to create trees on here to connect with distant cousins that I have yet to meet.

I transcribed the Kennebec cemetery outside of Castana because there were so many names on the register that were not listed on this site. I wanted the families of those people to be able to locate them and fill in the branches of their trees. Please ask me for a transfer if you have a sincere interest in updating and caring for one of the memorials. I do not have the time to do the updates and would rather see the memorial in the hands of someone who will properly care for it.

Minnie Seefeld duplicate
I transferred my memorial to you, so that you can handle changing the links and consider what to do with the headstone photographs before deleting it.

Hi, I was wondering if you could transfer this family member to me for ownership. She is my great grand aunt.

Hi Allison,

I'd like to take care of the memorials my ancestors in Kennebec Cemetery: Olive Kisling (112901939), Thomas Kisling (112901942), Jonathan Sumner (112890512) and Rhoda Sumner (112890518).

Thank you!

Ruth Shull record at Kennebec Cem.
Hi Allison,

Thank you so much for adding a record and photo for my aunt Ruth's grave! I would love to take care of her memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 112891469) if you would like to transfer it to me. I am new to contributing to Find a Grave (I added my first 3 records just last week) and don't know how this process works, so if you need any additional information from me, please let me know.

Thank you!

Stacey Baalman

Alison - Thank you for your information so carefully tended here. I have just been able to track my husband's line to Mary Nepper Hoover. She was his 2nd great grandmother. We are in Washington and appreciate the information you have cataloged here. Warmest regards, Meri Waterhouse

RE: Matthias L. Giltner
No I'm not related. I work at a museum in Bedford, Indiana and transcribed letters from Silas Henry Mathes, who was in the Signal Corps. He sent a picture home of himself and several other men from the signal corps taken on Lookout Mountain and names the men in the picture. One of them was "Mr. Giltner from Indiana". We have the letter and are hoping to find the picture.

I have a civil war letter that mentions a picture taken on Lookout Mountain. Matthias Giltner is one of the men named. I am looking for that picture. Are you a relative? Thanks for posting his obituary.
