Ditching of RB-36H occured 4 aug 1953.
It is hard to read on old memeograph copy of casualty report, but Beam's wife appears to have been Garalene ,or Geralene Elizabeth Beam.
Also on report: Mrs M.M. Patrick, mother-in-law, Waco,Tx.
Mrs Gussie V Beam,mother,Seaford,Delaware.

Maj Arthur P. Bean ,who was A/C Commander died in ditching of RB-36H Sr#52-1369 of 72 Strat Recon Sqdn in North Atlantic 500 mi west of Scotland. Of 23 in crew 4 survived 5 were confirmed dead and 14 missing and presumed dead.Maj Beam's body was never recovered.
I am attempting to find if grave or marker of some sort honors Maj. Beam. Have checked National Cemeteries and Find A Grave. So far NIL.
Am attempting to list all of crew on Find A Grave,if not already listed. I was in 72 SRS as radio/gunner. I knew Beam and most of his crew.
