|Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. |
Please obtain permission from the publishing newspaper, per Find A Grave guidelines, before requesting an obituary to be added to a memorial. Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives, unless you have their permission.
I am happy to make any corrections or additions to the memorials I manage and I will do so in as timely a manner as possible.

|Richard Bolander||Question about Mary C Davis Knox|
1. After Henry Newton Knox (64352706) died, his wife Mary C Davis (64352730) married Clark J Kern in 1897. The family moved to Readout, Oklahoma where Henry and Mary's daughter met someone from Ashland, Kansas and went there for a job. Minnie Agnes Knox (133261925) met and married Benjamin Clayton Baker (133260467). My question is: Where did the Kern-Knox family live after that? When did Mary return to Blue Mound?
2. Do you know anyone who has photographs or paintings of the following individuals who are direct ancestors of my wife?
Benjamin Clayton Baker and Minnie Agnes Knox
Henry Newton Knox and Mary C Davis
Benjamin Franklin Knox and Eliza Eleoner Caskey
Robert Knox and Jemima Ann Shields
John Knox and Esther Luckey
William Knox and Margaret Allen
John Knox and Jean Gracey
|Michelle Holston Short||RE: R L Knox|
Robert Knox, Jemina Ann Shields Knox & Johnathan Shields Knox(per Shari jean on ancestry.) Robert & Jemima are my Greatx4 Grandparents(descending down William, their 1st born).
|Hooked On Family||Your mom|
Oh, I was sending you a message, and someone else had made a notation on your message board about your mom. I found her memorial.
My daddy died when I was in high school, and my mom when I was 33, so I am extra sensitive to losses of parents, I guess.
I've also lost a sister, her husband, my stepdad,..so you wouldn't rhink I would want anywhere near cemeteries. But Find A Grave and photographing the stones is somehow therapeutic and comforting to me for now.
I will get back up to Greene and finish shooting that this spring! My goal...
So beautiful in Iowa this week...oh, my!

Thanks for the message. It is deleted.
When you use those "lists", or even when you photograph a stone, you don't know for sure.
A friend has been gone for 10 years, and the family still hasn't put the death date on his stone.
I'm in the midst of losing a good friend to an extremely rare and fast-acting disease...just ready to retire from teaching. Oh, my. I can hardly comprehend and process it all.
And I found out your mother passed. Please accept my apologies.
Let me know if all my Rose Hill stuff is a burden to you, and I can do it later.

I am sorry, but I don't know anything about Ruth. I don't even know of anyone who you could contact to get more information.
Good luck in your continuing search.

Thanks for the edit info for Mary Rockhold. Are you related to Dr. Paul Rockhold McGill? (Mary's grandson)
|Susan Davis||Raymond Joseph Knopke|
Since you added his profile, I'm wondering if you had personal knowledge of him or are related. My father was Raymond Chester Knopke. His family arrived here in 1892 in PA from Germany. Just wondering if there is a connection. Such an unusual name.

I think I got the transfer done. If not, please let me know.

It is a little difficult to read, but it says "Courier Special Service" at the top of the clipping, but I will add that in the caption also.
