I was born in Lafayette County, Florida in 1940, I am researching my family history in that area. Since I have had trouble locating family members in the cemeteries of that area I have decided to try and help rectify that problem. | |

 | RE: Joseph Dasher Thank you, Anita. | | | Francine Coppage
 | Joseph Dasher I saw some reference to Joseph Dasher in a message from you to Preservationist. Ed Hightower of Valdosta is searching for information concerning Joseph and his wife, Bessie Hightower. Can you help him? I posted Joseph's picture on Findagrave as a friend presented me with the wonderful picture of six sons of Edwin Dasher. Let me know, please, if you can help Mr. Hightower. | | | bjw36

 | Marcus Corbin Thank you for taking the time to make a photo of Marcus's headstone. | | | bjw36
 | Marcus Corbin Yes Anita I'm sure they are the same. His mother Mary is my half Aunt. I live in Missouri now,but was born and raised in Suwannee, Co. None of Mary and Jim's family had dates so I called the funeral Homes in Live oak, and got some of themAdded by bjw36 on Jun 12, 2013 6:05 PM | | | Stan Williams
 | #32467809, 32467799, 32467869 Ms McFarland, I noticed you have requested photos of the above Find A Grave numbers. I also notice this particular cemetery will not release plot numbers and photo permissions unless a family member furnishes a "letter of permission". If you do not have such a letter, I would be more than happy to help. My grandmother (Sallie) was a sister to Joseph and Martha. Also, thank you for removing the photo from Mom's site.

 | #11848072 Ms. McFarland, Thank you for your dedication to the work of Find A Grave! This truly is a labor of love!
I do have a request that I hope you can fulfill. While I appreciate your effort in adding a picture of the headstone for Faye Williams, I'm asking you to remove your photo if possible as I have added a photo of the "whole" stone to include my Dad as well.
Also, in the left hand margin of her face page, under "inscriptions", Dad's name starts with an "M" and not a "W". I think it was just transposed by accident.
Mom and Dad's grave is located in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Find A Grave #11848072
It is not my intent to offend you as I really do admire you for the thankless job you do.
Thank you for your consideration,

 | RE: Jes Wilton Caulk You're welcome. It was my pleasure. There was a plot map with last names. The map was enclosed by a structure built by an Eagle Scout (for his project). Very time saving :) Sheila | | | Mary Rose
 | RE: Mr. and Mrs. Revels-Fogartyville Cemetery Hi Nita, I've added their obituaries to their memorials.

 | Mr. and Mrs. Revels-Fogartyville Cemetery Nita,
Thank you so much for your research on the Revels and for sharing it with me so I could add it to their memorials. I plan to look for their obituaries at the local library. Many records were lost for this cemetery in a fire many years ago. You played an important part in solving the mystery of their names.
Kindest regards,
Mary Rose | | | | [View all messages...] |
