Im glad that you visited jacquelines grave site
I thought I would let you know that I took the picture of her stone not knowing who she was and lilly told me she thought she was a movie star so I did a lot of digging. Found obit and found her grandparents. Her grandparents are charles and Medora logan. They are buried in Div 1 I believe.
Medora 43410022 and Charles 43410013. One of their obits mentions Jacquelines father so that was my connection. Also the cemetery book says there is another logan Marion? in B 12 Lot 13 same as jacquelins but I couldnt find a stonenor could I find an obit on marion to help explain who she was.
I am not sure if the Wm Logan and wife are related? Their obits mention children but not Jacquelins father so Wm could be related somehow.
I took all of the information into the editor at the Tribune and he ran with more information which I knew he would. He did a great job and I wasnt expecting him to do 3 pages that was exciting for me. It was a nice experience and I got lots of phone calls about it.
I have found a lot of interesting people in greenwood as you probably know what storie could be told

Jacqueline Logan
Thank you for your thoughtful message.
Did you know that Jacqueline actually has two Find a Grave pages?
Here are links to both. You will have to copy and paste them to access the pages:

Being a movie fan, I tried this past January, to find out if Jacqueline had a memorial page under the "famous" Find a Grave memorials category and saw that she didn't.
I then investigated the non-famous Find a Grave memorial pages and found that she apparently had two.
I contacted Janet Donner who created one of the pages. She is in the process of taking part in a project of going through grave sites in Greenwood cemetery. I believe she was responsible, in part, for the newspaper article being written.
My interest in Jacqueline came from the fact that she starred in several movies with Robert Armstrong, who is my favorite actor from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Thanks for your interest in Jacqueline and for your message.
