Hi again Linda, I have posted Samuel's/Sampson's obit on his Find A Grave # 147574763. It also states burial at Mt. Pisgah. Thank you. Alvin
|Alvin Poole||Kirch Kuykendall|
Just to give you a little info on Kirch. I haven't truly claimed him as a relative yet, :<) haha.
I guess in 1902 or so Kirch and a cple other guys were convicted of trying to rob the Independence mining company out there, and he was sentenced to 13-14 years. "Attorney Eugene Engley states: Now on March 13, 1902 the paper states that the dead father of the defendant Kerch Kuykendall came to me and asked me to take the case". "For kicks, Engley is buried in Alamosa". On June 22, 1903 six inmates escaped and Kirch was killed. Somehow I got Samuel's death then as March 8, 1902. But history is history, so I found it interesting when I came across this line.
Again, thank you. Alvin

Do you live in the area? I would appreciate it so much. We possibly are coming out the last week of August, and we wanted to stop by there. Could you provide an address/phone number of where the office is.
Linda, thank you ever so much for your help on this. It truly is appreciated. Alvin 472444991.
