Leon E. Pittman (1921-1998), buried at Ft. Leonard Wood Cemetery, was married to Alice Ellen Freeman (1921-2007); she is buried at the same location.

Grant Pittman, who is linked to this Leon Pittman, is stated on his Findagrave site to be the son of a Leon Pittman and Mae Vonzelle Helm and does not belong to this Leon E. Pittman (1921-1998).

Leon E. Pittman
Thank you for the photo of Lt. Col. Leon Pittman's stone. He was my husband's brother. Please note that he was not the father of Grant Pittman. Leon's oldest child was born in 1947. I'm not familiar with a Grant Pittman in our line.

Got a message that a pic had been put on this memorial but it's not there. Could you try it again? Thanks for getting all that you did. Gail

Thanks so much for the headstone shots. May I use them in furthering my family research?

Thank you for looking for these graves. It is difficult sometimes to find a grave even when the cemetery is in excellent shape. But, I know this was a challenge to look for these graves and I really do appreciate it. Mike Trower

Thanks so much for the picture's. It is a shame to see that cemetery in such bad shape. I know it was an effort to find the grave. Thanks again. Mike
