|Leslie||RE: Are you still looking?|
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. My husband and I searched the Cemetery and its registry and all we could find was a listing for Alice and her husband(?) Charles. There is no headstone for her but there is one for Charles D Duncan birth of Sept 6 1871- Jan 16 1899. The location of the headstone of Charles is in the area where hers should be so we thought maybe Charles might also be related as well. According to the registry the grave polts are supposed to be right next to each other. If you find that Charles is related to Alice let us know and i will upload a photo of what we found. Thank you and God Bless

|Ronda Redden||Tillman G. Culp|
Hi Diane, I was hoping you could help me with the Tillman Culp family. I find the marriage record in 1896 for Tillman Culp and Ida Freeman. In the 1900 Census I see Tillman with his mother Sabrina and a two year old boy Henry. A few households up I see Benjamin Culp with Ida Culp and a two year old child Stella. Then in the 1910 Census I find Tillman with Ida Freeman with four children, the first of which is Stella but no Henry. And on the Findagrave memorial it shows Tillman wife as Ida Montgomery. Not Freeman. Can you help me clear up some of the confusion on this family?
|Deb (McEntire) Williams||Sabrina Abigail (Sparks) ((Culp)) (1834 or 1817 - 1916) # 39027333|
You maintain so much information on the Sparks family that I am hoping you can help me to prove or disprove the parents of Sabrina Abigail (Sparks) ((Culp)) (F) (1817-1916) # 39027333, who was the wife of Henry John Culp (M) (1831-1894) # 39121368.
My research has shown Sabrina’s parents as: Father, Isaac Sparks, b 11-22-1810 Greenup, KY, d 09-10-1885 KS., buried Silent Cemetery, DeSoto, Johnson Co., Kansas; (could be Isaac Sparks (1797 - 1885) # 14795582) AND Mother Lucinda (Thomas) b 07-15-1812 Estil, Kentucky; d 02-03-1899 Jefferson, Kansas; (could be Lucinda (Thomas) (1812-1889) # 14795585).
What bothers me the most is that Sabrina is shown with birth year of 1817 wouldn’t be possible to have her Mother Lucinda born in 1812. I originally had Sabrina born in 1834; so I am left wondering what is right, and if these are truly her parents.
Again, hoping you can help.
And, THANKS for ALL you have done for FIND A GRAVE. It is APPRECIATED.
