RE: Currey Family
Well then, your wife and I are distant cousins. I am descended from John Moore Currey's brother, Stephen Currey (junior, I guess) and his wife Anna Vail. Their son William Currey and wife Anna Gillett had a daughter Nancy who married Andrew J. Huson. My grandmother was a Huson. If she has any interesting stories to tell about the Curreys, I'm all ears.

Currey Family
Thank you for the picture of Frances Moore Currey's headstone. I was wondering if she was any relation to you? She is my 6th great-grandmother, and I live just a few miles away - in Laurel.

I'm glad you got in touch- I've been documenting the Flemington Pres Cemetery and your heads up on the name Crate prompted me to investigate further and make your corrections- the name Crater is at that cemetery as well and that threw me off. I'll keep a look out for the Van Campen and Crate names- If I happen across anything interesting I'll let you know- Happy hunting!

Me again- Did a little digging on William H- He is listed as a Civil War veteran in "Hunterdon County in the Civil War" and listed as being buried in the Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery (makes sense). He's probably listed on an illegible side of the memorial I photographed. I'll go back if the sun ever shines again and look with a mirror. The same book has a great picture of the son, Lemuel Hockenbury on pg 106. Oh, in familysearch I also saw him listed as father for a Christening to a daughter in February of 1861 (same year Rebecca died). I created a memorial for him and linked with Rebecca- Census records in 1880 have him married to an Amy.

OK- I made the correction- If you have memorial #'s for her parents or husband I would be happy to link them.
