|Peggy Reynolds||James Washington Reynolds|
He is myDad's great grandfather, (James Thomas Reynolds.) His Dad, James William Thomas Reynolds, his Dad, John Middleton Reynolds. His Dad, James Washington Reynolds. Want to find his parents. Elbert Co. Reynolds? One thing said he was born in Hart Co., but maybe Elbert? Family all buried in Cedar Creek Baptist Church cemetery, except my Dad and his siblings. Mary, Dad's sister, is buried there, died at 3 years. James Washington was called, "Wash," and my Dad told me once he was Irish. He or John M. possibly had a store? Also Dad said spelling of last name of "Runnels," was used with older generations. Thank you for your time! Peggy

Hello, I am looking for information on William Reynolds, the son of James Washington Reynolds and Harriet E. Greenway of Hart County? I lose track of him after 1860. Any idea what happened to him?

Glad I could find it (the 2nd time around). It was difficult to read, and I just missed it the first time. I don't live near there, but we were traveling through. I have lots of relatives in that cemetery and actually was entrusted with the churches sparse (and crumbling records) years ago. Took them down to Mercer where they microfilmed them. Now folks can look at the film and NOT do further damage to the records which I returned to the church.
