Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave has been a wonderful aid in my family research. I've slowly been uploading photos from local cemeteries and I will try to accomodate local photo requests when time permits.

If you want me to add information to a memorial, please send me the details. I will consider transfers if you are more closely related to the individual than I am.

Everyone is welcome to use any headstone photos that I have added as long as long as it is not for commercial use. Please credit any photos used to myself or FindAGrave. (EXAMPLE - Photo found at Find A Grave Memorial# 66248434.)

Glad I could be able to help with the added information. As far as I know, I'm not related to her.

Cindy, when I get a chance I will swing by the cem. and take a picture. Are you related to Fay Alesich Peterson Ivey? I went to high school with her children and I am related to the Alesich family way back...

I am always trying to connect with other branches of the family.

Thank you for your appreciation. I don't take on many cases but Cynthia's name spoke to me when I saw it on the photo request. It was interesting to see that her parents were stationed at Fort Chaffee (which is still there) and I cannot imagine the grief they must have felt as young parents. I too was born in 1952 which made me also feel a kinship to this baby. I am happy I found her for you.

The grounds keeper could not find a sunken stone. I went back out to the cemetery today and marked the head of the grave where he said it was with a pink rose for the picture.

Good news/Bad news. I found baby Cynthia ANN Broussard. I had to get the cemetery office to look it up and with the plat of the area found her grave. The bad news is that there was not a stone there. It is in the baby section of the cemetery. The caretaker said he would go out and probe the area with a tool to see if the stone has sunk into the ground. I took a picture of the ground where he said it was. There are stones (all flat plates) from the early 1950's in the area so I am hoping it has sunk and he will find it. He said to call him later and I will. I'm hoping he will make some kind of marker that I can take a picture of which will be better than what I took today which is just a grassy spot.

Hi Cindy,
I would like to help you in locating Cynthia Broussard and have claimed the photo request. Is this an infant? Also, was there any other family related to Cynthia in Fort Smith? Thanks.

Her husband John Miley was a brother to my great-great grandfather Josiah Miley who moved to Washington Parish before 1870. He is supposed to be buried at the Old Cooper Cemetery and John Miley according to Mary's petition for John Miley's civil war pension is buried there to. Have you ever been to that cemetery? I live in Bogalusa, Louisiana. My grandfather was Isaac Morgan Miley 1895-1966, my great grandfather was John Harvey Miley 1860-1947 and my great-great grandfsther was Josiah Miley 1834-1912. My name is Lavon Ingram.
