Bio and Links
Bio Photo Have enjoyed genealogy since the mid-1980's. I love solving family puzzles and learning our history. Most of my memorials are family but would consider transferring those that are not. Many people have helped me through the years and I hope I can help other genie nuts like me.

RE: Daniel A. & Rosa Turner
Jan, sorry for the incorrect information. I have edited it to read as you indicate in your message. Forgive my error, I am new at taking and adding pictures and from here on out, I will stick to just posting what inscription on the headstone shows.

Sincerely, Carol

Daniel A. & Rosa Turner
Hi Jan,

I have posted a photo of Daniel & Rosa's headstone with some family information I obtained from I will post the same picture to Rosa's listing here soon.

We have been retired for about six years now and became passionately involved in our family genealogy for several years now.

We have traveled to several states trying to solve some of our biggest genealogy mysteries and plan a trip to Scotland next fall.

We have several family members who we would love to have headstone picture for and are glad that we can add the four that we found here locally.

Sincerely, Carol

RE: Ollie Taylor at Piland Cemetery
I am so sorry to get your hopes up...I actually was trying to fulfill another request that I had claimed and somehow it posted to your request (in a totally different cemetery). I checked and it appears that your photo request is no longer listed. Please request a photo again so your request should appear again. I apologize for the confusion.
Best wishes,
Anna Rowe Love

Thornfield Cemetery
I tried to get a picture of Daniel and Rosa Turner for you but I was so busy trying to keep my shadow out of the picture didn't realize that I accidentally cut off part of Daniel's information. I hope to go back down to Ozark County in July so I will get it for you then.

Also, I regret to inform you that the Directory at Thornfield cemetery doesn't list John Taylor. There are a few unmarked graves at Thornfield that they don't have records on. If you are sure he is in Thornfield cemetery then I'm afraid he may be in one of those.

Correction: I did not create Nancy's memorial, but did create Mary's. Entered it as I got it, with the "s" on the end.

Hall memorials
Hi Jan

Nancy Steele Hall is my 3rd great-grandmother too. That makes us 4th cousins, I think. As you may have noticed, I did not create the memorials, just asked for them to be transferred to me because of that relationship. Do you have a record showing Nancy's birth month as December? My records say November, for some reason (think that came from a family history passed down to me in the early 1970's).
