Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been entering photos and genealogical information on my family members and from old cemeteries in my area, many of which are deteriorating fast.

I have photographed and transcribed the remaining headstones in the Porter Cemetery on River Road in Lyme, NH, the Beale Cemetery in East Lyme and the much smaller Gilbert Lot on River Road in Lyme. I have photographed about 25% of the memorials in the Old Lyme Cemetery. If anyone wants to join the Old Lyme effort, e-mail me and I can point out what has already been photographed. I am a long-time genealogist with a couple of Cary surname articles published in The American Genealogist and Rhode Island Roots.

RE: Goodell children - Old Lyme, NH
Thanks so much for the pics of my ancestors' stones and their families. Sorry to hear about Dorothy Sears. Her work has certainly helped me out with all my Lyme families.

RE: Goodell children - Old Lyme, NH
I have these children for Jonathan and Mary Goodell, who died young:

John 1771-1786
Joel 1773-1786
Asa 1778-1786

Guess something happened in 1786. My information is from Lyme families by Dorothy W. Sears, at the NH Historical Society Library, Concord NH.

RE: Lyme Cemeteries
by all means--go for it! :-)

I've been wanting to do Lyme but have gotten caught up on a project in Hartland VT. The closest to Lyme I've gotten is the Etna cemetery... and Hanover Center. And then north in Orford.

If you're ever up for tag-teaming let me know. I welcome a local fellow graver.
