I came across some more Joys at Mount Olivet in Section 15. They are Maurice Joy (Memorial# 96766100), Hanora Joy (Memorial# 96766096), and Mary Agnes Joy Shea (Memorial# 96766136). Are they related to you?
|Jeffrey Duarte||Aloysius C. Joy|
I happened upon the correct location of Aloysius C. Joy. He is located in Section 51 next to Lot 109. You should check to see if other Joys are interred here. His was the only marker present. I uploaded the pictures to his memorial.

There is no marker for James Joy. The four markers located at this plot are those of Mattie E. Joy (1865-1918), Eugene A. Joy (probably the son of Mattie) (1892-1898), Edward F. Joy (1842-1906), Elizabeth Jerman Joy (1829-1905), and Ann Joy (1803-1863). This photo shows the markers on this plot (left, Mattie E. and Eugene A. Joy; second from right, Edward F. Joy; furthest right is Elizabeth Jerman Joy; behind Elizabeth's marker lying flush on the ground in Ann Joy's marker). In this picture is the plot of land identified as Section 15-C, Lot 25. Memorials have been created for the Joys with markers buried at this plot.

Not a problem. Let me know if there is someone else in the DC area you are searching for.
|Jeffrey Duarte||Fitzgeralds at Mount Olivet|
I located Edmund Fitzgerald. Also at the plot was Margaret (1856-1938) and Maurice P. (1885-1919). I created memorial pages for each.

You are quite welcome.
