Fairly new ancestry researcher, but old hand at research, I was once an Archaeology Lab Technician. So details and accuracy are a big part of me. If any of the memorials I have, contain errors or are missing information please let me know, I wish to be as accurate as possible. If you are related to any of the people on my list and are closer in kinship, I will also transfer them if you wish. In a few instances all of the memorials for a certain last name in a cemetery were transferred to me and I have no kinship to some of them. If you have info on any of my memorials, but do not wish to manage them, please use the edit tab at the top right of the page and give me any info you can share. The more we can record the better the chances that someone will find a long lost Ancestor. Thank you to all those on this site who have assisted me in my searches. Many have gone way beyond the necessary and done research for me that I could not have done myself. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to all of you.
Any photos I might post may be reproduced and used without further permission, but a note would be appreciated since you are probably family and I am trying to get in touch with as many members of the family as I can, no matter how distant. Even if you don't copy photos, but are a family member, please let me know who you are, I would love the contact. Remember that other people may post photos to my memorials and they should be asked for permission before you copy their photos. A lot of work goes into taking or posting those photos and you should acknowledge their work. | |

Hi Brenda,
I'm sorry the photos aren't clear. I took those pictures 3-4 years ago in a rushed trip and didn't have time to clean the stones up very well. I added an additional picture which still doesn't help much, but on enlargement looks like his age at death was 68 y's 8 d's. If I get the chance to get back there, I'll be sure to do better!

Thanks for the information. An invite would be great, thanks. I am not related to Billups, but my great-great grandfather was friends and a neighbor of theirs in Scotland County. I have made the updates you suggested. Do you know if Lunenburg is the birth county AND town for Wm, or just the county?
