Hello I am a friend of purplelady. And since you are from Austraila here are some Aussies that need flowers. Kevin Wheatley 10078247 he was a vietnam war hero and Murray Rose 88647438 olympic champion who has seem to be forgotten. I see that you had some problems let me tell you my story. My friend Cynthia Gillig Stone 75864427 who I sponsor I posted her up and sponsored her when I could not get her famous grave status which I have been wanting. This snitch went belly aching to managment and they merged the two memorials I found out someone posted one before me so I got the person to transfer it to me. And all was fine and dandy then they removed a picture of her that I posted and I contacted them to ask why then they took the management away from me and censored her bio page which I did to an extent and took away her stage name Echo Valley which she was known for. Could you please be kind a leave her a flower and the snitch left me a sarcastic message on my messages. You can go to wikipedia, youtube and google Echo valley to find out more about her. I did visit her grave and her dads he was a (korean war veteran) to know her was to love her I would appericate it. You need me to leave a flower for someone let me know. To visit Austraila is on my list of places to see I love the movie THE BUCKET LIST if you havent seen it you got to see it. Hi David, I'm so happy you did not ask me to remove my tokens, after reading your Bio. I had the same thing happen to me in 2008, when I put a PURPLE candle on a lady's memorial. I received a scathing message from her lady friend, asking me to remove it and I did. Then she went on the FORUM & told everyone about it. However, her little trick backfired on her, as I received a lot of messages from people on the Forum that read her MSG & they took my side. If you don't want flowers posted, then don't put it on Findagrave for public view... Fortunately, I made a lot of new friends during that time & still correspond with some of them. Guess we still have to respect others wishes, no matter how strange.
I would love to visit Australia & I have a couple of findagrave friends there, but I know I'll never get the chance to go 'down under'.
Hoping your day was a nice one regardless if you celebrate Easter. Since my children are grown & with no Grandchildren, Easter at home, NOW, is less enjoyable. Sure miss those Easter Egg hunts with my little ones, so long ago.

If you only knew how much my Daddy LOVED Australia and the friendly people who live there! He spent time there while on shore leave during WWll. David, your lovely message that you left on Daddy's memorial (Duval Stallings) is so uplifting and comforting to my soul. He's been heavy on my mind lately. With my mother very ill, I dearly wish he was here to pass along sage advice and comfort. Thank you so much for your tribute to my father. I dearly miss and so love him.

I'm so sorry for the delay in responding to your wonderfully sweet message. I have a seriously ill mother and my responses to messages gets pushed to the back burner here lately.

Thank you for the kind words and token for my son Edmund. He was named after his great-grandfather. His name was never shortened to Ed or Eddie. He was always Edmund and he was the first to let you know.
I had a lady leave me a note once about not leaving a token on her memorials as they were for family only...Hard to figure out but I deleted the token.
