I have not been doing this very long, but it is so interesting. Filling out my DAR application got me started.

RE: Charles Montgomery
FYI: When you look at their page on Find A Grave, the person who took the picture is credited under it. Click on her name and it will bring up her profile page and usually an e-mail address so you can communicate. I have never been to this cemetery so I don't know what it says either. Many times when the stone is unreadable on the picture, the contributor will write the inscription on the page. You could ask her to add it if she knows. Frances

I'm so glad you were able to make the trip to Oxford and photograph your loved one's grave.

Best Regards,
Sylvia

RE: clear creek cemetery
I recently sent you an e-mail but it may have gone
into your junk mail. I would be glad to photograph
your loved one's tombstone when I have another chance to go there. I'm not sure when that will be. You might add the name to the Photo Request so others will have the opportunity to do this for you.

RE: clear creek cemetery
It is west of Oxford on Hwy. 278 almost nine miles.
Turn left onto CR 313 Clear Creek Rd. Go about one
mile. It is on the right.
It was very hot and humid that day and I did not
cover the entire cemetery. I was searching for the
names for the photo requests. I don't remember seeing a Haley. There are some very old stones that
are broken and illegible.
