Thank you for your comment. Despite what Burr did to Alexander Hamilton, it definitely has no bearing on the sorrow I felt for Theodosia, her son and her husband. I only wish on that part of the history of Theodosia, that a much happier ending or closure on what exactly happened to her on the Patriot were known. Aaron Burr had to die not knowing what happened to his daughter, and that was indeed sad. A short time after her disappearance, Joseph Alston himself died as a result of heartbreak over her disappearance at a young age. I send you in friendship my condolences to you on behalf of your ancestor on the pain he must've suffered so greatly. Please keep me posted on any new developments in regards to your family and maybe any new light on Theodosia's disappearance. Thank you for writing me.
