Hi Jean, your information is correct and matches the info on Findagrave, George's headstone and the VA records. The VA website is where I got the other info regarding the unit he served with. They spelled his name Talman which is why the headstone shows his name that way. If you would like to check out the VA site the web address is "gravelocator.cem.va.gov". Their listings include private, municipal, state and national cemeteries.

I just transferred her to you since you were the originator of Thomas Douglas's memorial. Someone else had requested a picture of his stone and I can't find who it was so I am sending Sarah to you.

Hi Jean, I see that you created a memorial for George Taulman at Knoxville Veterans Cemetery (East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery). I will have to do some more research but to the best of my knowledge there are no Civil War Veterans interred at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. I did locate a G.W. Talman #2972796 at Knoxville National Cemetery. His date of death however is Feb.8,1864. He was a member of Company K, 118th Regiment, Ohio Infantry. Is it possible this is your George Taulman ?
