Sorry I was looking at a generation below her. I gave you the wrong memorial #. The above # is correct.

My late husband (Harold Robert Cowles) mom is Beverly Loriane Carr: her dad was Dewitt Clinton Carr (son of Mary Elizabeth Travis = who was the daughter of Elizabeth Gale. Muskegon County was their "stomping grounds".

Why did you put a photo of her husband's stone on HER memorial. He has on of his stone on his memorial (and a slightly better one at that). Please remove it.

Do you know is Laura is my husband's family "Aunt Lollie". I have a photo of her on her (100th?) birthday...so the story goes. In fact, our oldest daughter's nickname came in honor of her.

My e-mail is not coming to me...who knows where it's going! I have changed my e-address and no longer give it out, but you can always leave a message on my bio page.

Thanks for listening.

RE: Robert Henry Barton
Hi Jane

I have what you have but had not checked further but will do so. Are you related to the Bartons? I am related to Laura. If you check their son Frank, you will see the picture my Great grandmother had of him. That picture and the name on it is what opened that branch of the family.

I will see what I can find on his folks. Get back to you. Robert

RE: Your Find-A-Grave request
Your Henry is the son of our Henry Gale & Lucy Knight. He is brother to Charles, my Franklin's father.

I love when a plan comes together. If you need any info going back, let me know.

Laura is my Franklin's first cousin. She must be a daughter to one of Charlie Gale's or his father Henry Gale. It gets crazy from there, as there are three generations of Henry Gale's in a row.

Do you know her parents names?

RE: Your Find-A-Grave request
Charles and Henry Gale born in NH and the next generation traveled through NY and eventually to Michigan. They did not travel close but were not ever real far from each other. Charles is Franklins Father and Henry, Charles father.

Hi Jane, My Great Grandmother on my fathers side was a Gale. I am trying to link all the Gale's together. I own the Gale Plot in "Hart Cemetery" and my parents will be buried on the last two spaces next to the Gale marker which is alongside my Fathers parents graves. Franklin Gale was Great Grams Father Memorial# 66880398
