I am researching my family surnames Orr, Griffith, Toler, Kriegel, Armstrong, Huffman, Johnson, Davis, Wild, mainly in Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
I love the old cemeteries and tombstones and have been using cemetery records to help add names to cemeteries in Indiana. These old records are not perfect, so there are bound to be mistakes in the listings. I welcome additions and corrections. If you have information to add to or change a memorial, please let me know by using the edit tab, and please include the source of your information. If I've listed a family member of yours, I will happily transfer anyone I'm not related to. You are welcome to copy my photos for your own personal use. If you're going to post my photos on ancestry.com or other websites, it's polite to ask first and give credit. :-)
I don't intentionally create duplicate memorials, but they slip through sometimes, especially when I upload a spreadsheet with a whole cemetery. If I duplicate your memorial, just let me know and I will delete mine, if yours was created first. | |

 | Charles Buddemeyer I went this week to try one more time to find his marker with no luck. I'm 99% certain that it isn't there.

 | RE: William and Wilhelmina Shuka St. Lucas United Church of Christ, with which St. Lucas Cemetery is affiliated, purchased Park Hill Cemetery in the '70s. That is where I searched.
My great grandmother doesn't have a stone. Her only child was a son, and I don't think it's unusual for sons to not take care of things like making sure deceased family members get markers. We women tend to be "keepers of the flame" and take care of things like that. :-) | | | Lynn Brumley Beckman
 | RE: William and Wilhelmina Shuka I'm sorry they don't have markers. Always a disappointment. If many or all the plots in that section are used, then MANY people don't have markers. Even a search for ground level or recessed markers (pushed into the ground by large mowers) yielded nothing. At least there's a record of their burial there. If you have other relatives whom you know died in Missouri after 1910 and before 1960 (I think that's the cut off date), you can search Missouri death certificates for scanned copies online, which may provide other info you may be searching for. | | | Eloine
