|Hi I am interested in the following names and areas to find out about my family. If you and I could be related then I'd like to talk to you and compare notes, share old family photos, etc.|
LAST NAMES and LOCATIONS:
Singleton (Pulaski County, Kentucky / Eubank, Kentucky / Singleton town, Kentucky)
Brandenburg (Lee County, Kentucky / Heidelberg, Germany)
Witt (Jackson County, Kentucky / Virginia / France as deWitt, deVite, etc various spellings)
Jackson (Kentucky- possibly Lee County or Owsley County?)
Powell (Jackson County, Kentucky / anywhere in Wales as the surname "ap Hywel")
Holt or Holte (Maryland / Rochdale, England / Lancashire, England)
Also anything on French Protestants coming here to Virginia around 1700 would be helpful.

|Paula Hughes White||regarding Shirley Frances Brandenburg|
In regards to your question about whether Frances is a middle or maiden name-Shirley Frances Brandenburg was her birth name, however most people called her "Sug". She was married and divorced (Al Johnson is the father of her five children)but took her maiden name later in her life. Sug was my husbands maternal aunt.
|Ron Rader||Joseph Brandenburg|
Can you please get in touch with me about your Joseph Brandenburg memorial?
|Ron Rader||Stone Coal Cemetery|
Do you know a lot (or anyone) who knows about the Brandenburg, Creech, and Farmer families in the Stone Coal Cemetery in Lee county, Ky? I am interested in determining if Nancy Creech (1823-1907) at Stone Coal, was a Brandenburg prior to marriage?
