Bio Photo "If, however, a man says that he does not care to know where his grandfather lived, what he did, and what were that grandfather's policies and religious creed, it can merely mean that he is incapable in taking interest of one of the most interesting forms of human knowledge of the details of the past." - The London Spectator

Heidi Cannon has been researching family genealogy for over 30 years.
Family names are Cannon, Tuttle, Dotten, Hemingway, Holcomb, Watson, Potter, Lanfair, Myers, Boggs, Heaton, Hitt, Locke, Lincoln, Sperry, Gaylord, Frisbie, Ives, Durand, Hitchcock, Landon, Wheadon, Fowler, Bartlett, Russell etc. Many first settlers throughout Connecticut.

Daughter of the American Revolution, descendent of Samuel Durand a Rev. War patriot and musician.
Mayflower Pilgrim Edward Doty Society.
Connecticut Society of Genealogists.
Simsbury Genealogical Society.

At the time of death, there is so much effort, care, attention and love put into families and loved ones headstones and plots that I feel documenting the headstone before acid rain eats it away is one step toward preserving that love. I hope that findagrave stays on the internet so the headstones are documented indefinitely.

Anyone who wants information added or changed to the burial record please don't hesitate to email me, I will also transfer management to you if wanted.

Yes I did. I'll upload them later on. Was having trouble with the sizing. If you'd like the originals let me know.

Hi there. thank you so much for your great work. I do wonder if you by any chance know the name of Henry Sherwood's father. Born 1796 in Connecticut and died May 5, 1870. buried in the Willowbrook cemetery. Just trying to piece these folks together. thanks again so very much for your kind efforts in behalf of those who have gone on before.

Heidi, the change looks good. Thank you. I saw your email last week. if you still plan coming up here and meeting up with Kent Crook, let me know. I know my sister would also like to meet up with him. We were at the cemetery on St. Patricks day, my nephew wants to get a foot stone for his mother whose ashes are interred there. Of course nothing has been done there since. I did notice that they painted the iron gates, they look nice. and they were tied shut. It's the first time I have seen them closed, but they weren't locked.
