Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up on our family farm in North Branch, Garden Valley, Jackson Co, Wisconsin. My family being some of the earliest settlers there. I moved to the state of Oregon in 1974 and have been enjoying life in this beautiful country ever since. I am married with one son who is currently serving in the army. I have a passion for genealogy and have proven four lines to the Mayflower. Along the way I have found family everywhere and hope I can share some of the information I have found.

Eliza House Stone
Mary Jo,
I what taking photos in Diphtheria Cemetery on Hixton Levis Rd just down from Small Pox Cemetery & photographed Eliza House's headstone there. Exact same headstone you have listed & photographed in Small Pox. Do you think this headstone has been moved to Diphtheria cemetery? or could the small pox cemetery records be wrong? would like to remedy if the stone has been messed with.
Thanks,
Dulcene During

Charles and Bertha Horel transferred
Hi Mary Jo:

Thank you for the nice message that you left me:) I wanted to let you know that I have transferred Charles and Bertha's memorials to you since you related to them and I am not. I know that you will take good care of them as well.

Hope you enjoy your evening!

RE: Jan John Ira Versteeg
John husband of Harriet Stoutenburg, wonder why we can not find him. I do have a copy of his death certificate that states he died in Portland but no newpaper record. Like you I will continue to search.

Jan John Ira Versteeg
Jacob Versteeg is listed as a son of John who died 1915, this is incorrect. Jacob's father John died in 1899. We have not located any obituary for him. You do have the one I sent for his mother Harriet Von Stoutenburg Versteeg. I do not know who to write to so they can make the correction

Serelda and John Versteeg
Mary Jo - I am so sorry - accidentally hit the send button.

I was notified this afternoon that the memorials I created for Serelda and John Versteeg are duplicates so I will delete them this afternoon - Serelda Versteeg 95689278 and John Versteeg 95689326.

You graciously posted photos to these duplicates so I wonder if you would like to move them to the remaining original memorials? Serelda Versteeg #10339135 and John Versteeg #10339114

I do apologize for this - I try to be thorough.

Just to let you know, I received emails this afternoon that the memorials I created are duplicates (news to me because I checked thoroughly) - anyway, out of respect, I will be deleting these two memorials as duplicates
