Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am searching Schaefer from Tipp City, OH Frank H Schaefer came from Ohio to Kentucky and met Helen Kincaid. He was the son of Frank R Schaefer, son of Johann Adam Schaefer. Adam and his wife Elizabeth came from Germany around 1950. I am also searching the Kincaid family from Lee County, Kentucky. Lycugus Kincaid married Maude therefore I am searching the Deaton family of Lee County, Kentucky. My mother married Ralph Thomas Martin, so that is leading me to the Martin's in Powell County, Kentucky, descendants of John L. (Luther) Martin. His mother Elva Johnson leads me to Hugh Johnson and Lucy Hall....and the list goes on!

The transfers are complete.
I was born and raised in the same small town as Mrs. Deaton, her daughters Janis and Jean.
I will look through my photos of the Cavour Cemetery as I may have her headstone.

RE: ella davis
I just thought it does look like the same person. I know Marvin has lots of info on the Davis family and he has visited the Davis cemetery in Lee Co., but he did not post any info on Hannah Luella "Ella" Linkous, wife of James Samuel Davis.

I hate to delete my memorial since some of Hannah Luella' children are link to her and another person has those memorials.

Thank you for all the work you do on find a gave.

God Bless

Thanks for responding so quickly......I too believe they are one and the for the obit........I got the copy from The only thing which is askew is the cemetery name.......that is possibly in error since I believe the OBIT is from a Hamilton, Ohio paper (no proof).....just based on it (the obit) that is were he resided prior to death.

RE: Glenna Combs
I created memorials for Harlan and Beatrice, and linked them to Glenna. Do you have their birth and death dates?

RE: Gabbard Cemetery
From Athol take WALK LOG ROAD.
Just as you enter Athol from Tallega take a right on Walk Log Road. Take it for about four miles all the way until it ends. When the road ends the Cemetery will be right there. The road is pretty good to travel. You can park and walk in the gate. It is a pretty well kept cemetery.
Good Luck.

Thanks Janie,

I started putting photos of lots that people are buried in that don't have a headstone a little while back and people seems to appreciate it. I've had a lot of positive responses from people who are looking for where their family are buried.

Winchester Cemetery is very big with about 20,000 buried in it. The cemetery was good enough to give me a map of the cemetery and I use it to find the exact location where someone is buried. I also have the cemetery database that tells me where each person is buried. When someone doesn't have a headstone I can find one close by and use it to find the exact location of the person's lot I'm looking for. Sometime it takes a few minutes but I can do it. When I go to the cemetery I take my laptop with the database on it and an iPad with the lot location marked in the section for the grave I'm looking for. Takes a little time but I love doing it.
