Bio and Links
I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama on Hollinger's Island. I moved to Rainbow City, Alabama in 1999 and I love the mountains here.

My husband and I raise cattle and I have several hobbies I enjoy such as quilting, relic hunting and of course genealogy.

My relatives on my dad's side of the family came from NC and SC and settled in Wayne, Clarke, Jasper and Jones County, MS and Choctaw, Washington and Mobile County, Alabama. Their surnames are Sims/Simms, Williams, Jones, Gatlin, Blackledge, Landrum, Wright, Crockett and Clardy.

My relatives on Mom's side of the family came from Wales, Ireland, Virginia and Georgia. Their surnames include Simmons, Lewis, Malone, Cahall, Killcrease/Kilcrease, Harkins, Jones, Wainwright Griffin and Bates.

My husband's maternal relatives are Malone, Henderson, Franklin, Jester, Jones and Sheffield and they come from Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina and settled in Etowah and St. Clair County, AL.

My husband's paternal relatives are Payne, Brannon, Huff, Condray, Pendergrass, Phillips, Colvin, Jones, and Sheffield and they came from the Carolinas and Tennessee and settled in Etowah and St. Clair County, AL.

If anyone has any questions or information to add please feel free to contact me.

Sims Family
My GGGrandfather is John Taylor Sims (1857- 1920), Great Grand Father is John Andrew Sims (1882-1946)and Grand Dad was Lewis Levon Sims (1908-1968). Is there any one there to connect to your family of Sims?

Hi Michele:
I was working on Laura Eugenia Pringle Sims and saw that you do not mention Pringle as one of your lines. I have Laura, dau. of our William Simpson Pringle as marrrying James Oscar Sims. Is this correct or have I jumped the track somewhere? If correct, do you know the correct wife or wives of Loranza Bethea Sims? I descend from one of William (Sam) Pringle brothers. Thanks......Sam O.

I was wondering if you would be kind enough to transfer my great grandmother's grave to me?

Missouri Simmons Bekurs - 50073109

Thank you!

Hi! Thanks for the directions to his grave. It turns out the Sims family plot is right next to my Watson family plot.
