Find-a-grave to me is about quality not quantity. This is not a race to see who can post the most memorials. Rather a place to inform and bring accurate information to others. It would be wonderful to be able to do this full-time but alas the bills don't pay themselves. Volunteering to fill photo requests is a two fold endeavor. Figure while I'm out there anyway I may as well help someone in their search. There is so much to be done. I best get busy!! Happy researching!|
Oh and if you find a memorial that I have posted and would like transferred, please ask. Again, I am not here to create some milestone number of memorials. Simply using the tools F-A-G has provided to help myself and others make our way through this genealogical journey and honor those who have gone before us. Blessings!

I know it has been a while (Jul 2014), but my thanks and gratefulness is no less sincere. I so appreciate your time and compassion in taking the photos of my family's resting place. I have been away from my family tree for some time, but never delete messages of good will until they are completed. Very sincerely, Janet

Thank you for doing this! I'm not sure why the site shows Samuel's birthdate as 25 March 1800, since he was born on 25 March 1797, which is also confirmed by the photograph you took. (If you calculate the date of birth from his age at the time of death.) At any rate, thanks for providing this final piece of the puzzle!

A. V. Baumann I(my great-grandfather)is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, Ohio. I appreciate your efforts in creating an entry for him.
However, the family members listed are incorrect. Anna Baumann Zweily is not a sibling of A.V. Baumann I. He had two aunts whose first names were Anna but neither was born in 1826.
Nor did he have a brother, Albert Otto Baumann. Albert Otto is the son of A. V. Baumann's brother, John Jacob Baumann, Jr.
Albert Vogt Baumann I and his wife, Anna Rose Greene, had two children: Albert Vogt Baumann II and Elsie Elizabeth Baumann (Holzapfel).
I really appreciate the time taken to create and update these entries.
