RE: Lahr Family
I have been trying to locate those books that you speak of ever since you sent me this email and I do not believe I have seen them. However I did get ahold of a copy of Lahr history, pedigree etc and i need to relocate it in my bin of info. It was given to Warrens father decades ago and past on to him. I believe if my records are correct that Willard was son to Albert. It seems that Some where between Ohio and Indiana Willard was born, but I have yet to get the exact location. I also pulle dup some info in the Counties Geneology Library. As i told Richard in an email I am more than happy to alwyas share info and would be tickled with anything you all my have and also like to share. I had slowed down on the record keep last summer after the passing of my Grandmothe. It was a little to hard for me, but I am up and running now.
Take care

I wanted to ask your permission to save the pictures that are on Benjamin Thomas Fisher and Mary Ann Cowger's Find a Grave Pages. I descend from two of Mary Ann's siblings her brother Henry Harve Cowger (my mother's side) and her sister Sarah Indiana Cowger (my father's side). I would be happy to share pictures of Henry (I have good ones of him) and Sarah Indiana (I have a poor copy of her but it is so obvious that she and Mary Ann are sisters). I don't know any more about Benjamin and Mary but if you ever want any information on Henry and Sarah I would be happy to share.

Did I ever respond to your question about a probable link through the Pettit-Rush-Covert-Overman families?

I definitely would like to compare notes and/or swap data if we do have a link.

John Pettit & Catherine Covert were my 4g gparents.
William Littel Pettit was my 4g uncle.

Lahr Family
Thank you so much for your letter. Ia m always so thrilled to hear from family and to learn more about our family. I am Willard Keith Lahrs Daughter in Law. I am married to his Son Warren who was named after his Uncle Warren who died as a young boy. My Husbands Grand Parents were Willard and Edith Lahr. I believe his Great Grandfather is John C lahr whos father was Ulrich Lahr and yes I was told they did all come from Germany. The last of the lahrs here are my family, My Mother in Law and My Husbands Uncle David. Keith, Gene, and Betty all passed away in the late 90's. Apparently My Husbands Great Great Uncle is John Lahr who owned the LAhr House Hotel here in Lafayette.
Any INfo you have would be wonderful. I do alot of geneology and always appreciate any help filling in the blanks I have yet tofind. Between Lahrs and the rest of my side I am always buisy finding out new things. Thanks again for your letter.
