I was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Kaufman, Texas at the age of 7. After my marriage I move to Ennis, Ellis Co., Texas. I began working on my family genealogy in 1985. I have spent the last year working with Ann on listing and taking photo's of the Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Kaufman Co., Texas. I am married (45 years) and have three children and seven grandchildren. My spare time is also cemetery hopping. I have pictures of Davidson's in Newton Co. Mississippi and Texas, Lanham's in Smith Co., Texas and Conner's in Navarro Co., Texas. | |

 | spouses When there is a stone marker pictured with husband and wife named, such as Thomas Bartlett Shehee and Lola Alice Shehee, why are they not connected as spouses? | | | Mary V. [Johnson] Edgar
 | James W. Battles There are two Mountain Peak cemeteries ~ one in Cleburne and another in Ellis County. Donzas obviously had the correct one because he posted a photo of the stone. I have deleted Mr Battles and his wife from the cemetery in Cleburne. Thanks for the 'heads up.' Mary | | | Thomas Vought
 | Twin Sons Allen re: Find A Grave Memorial# 35784476
This is the only record I can find of the boys, and I was hoping that you could give me permission to post your grave photo to my Ancestry.com Tree?
I know, everyone just usually helps themselves, but I don't. I will of course give you attribution for the photo, and say that it is used with your permission.
Thanks, Tom | | | Thomas Vought

 | Henry Napoleon Hoffer marker Thank you for looking for my great grandfather's marker. Yes, I'd like to have one for his son Henry William, also. I don't know the lady you mentioned, but she may turn up in my genealogy searches at a future date, so, yes, I'd like to have a pic of her marker, too. Any other Hoffers, also.
If you live around Kaufman or Terrell, please look for Marion Elizabeth Johnson Hoffer, Henry Napoleon Hoffer's first wife, from whom my line came, via their only daughter Sallie Louise Hoffer Parrish. All I know about Marion is that she died in 1869 and that her father was William Johnson. (Wish Johnson weren't such a common name as to make it difficult to trace.)
Blessings, Mary Ann Parrish | | | Edward McKay
 | RE: Emmett A Carlisle Sure thing - Don't worry about the bad note - there are all kinds - don't take it personal
