|Genegirl99||RE: Louise Raffel/Hoffman|
Louisa Raffel married Peter A. Hoffman, and had daughter Rosa Hoffman, who married Fred Hoffman. Rosa and Fred Hoffman had my grandma Eunice Hoffman.
I have Bogunnsewen (Bognisiewen, on Priesen), Prussia-Romme East Prussia, Germany as Louisa's birthplace. I have a second John Raffel and Lousia Sobakty as John, Wilhelmina, and Louisa's parents. I don't know much about Fred Raffel.
I've been to Vandalia, Ramsey, Vera, and Mulberry Grove.
I just popped to see what I could find of the Raffel Family, because my 2nd great grandma was Louisa Raffel Hoffman. I believe she is your great-great-grandpa John Raffel's sister.

James Sealey Smith is the person you are referencing. He worked on the Allen Ranch and lived in a house there along with his mother, Cora. Cora died in 1959 and Sealy then lived there alone until his passing in 1971. His brother, Roy Robert Phillips is my step grandfather. I attended Sealy's funeral in September 1971. I was attending Howard Payne and was living with my grandmother (Thelma) at Lake Brownwood at the time. The last information I have is that Mabel, the only daughter of Plez and Cora is still alive and she is now 100 years old. She was married to John Smith, former Sheriff and Chief of Police of Coleman and Coleman County, respectfully.

I have sent an email to your gmail account with directions and screen shots of maps to help you find Cleveland Cemetery.
Please let me know if you have any problems finding it with that information.

I am so sorry, but I do not know anything more about this family.
