Many of the memorials I've added are a result of headstone photos taken "Along The Way". Please use the Edit tab on any memorial I've added, to provide additional information (i.e. maiden name, spouse or parent LINKS, etc.), ask questions or to Request a Transfer.
Note: permission granted to use any headstone photo I've added to Find A Grave (contributed by AlongTheWay) for any genealogical use, as long as they are not offered for sale.
To send me a private message for any other reason, go to Mitzi's memorial page, click on the Edit tab & select the option: "Suggest a correction or provide additional information".

JUNE 2014 UPDATE: Approximately 13,000 Memorials (for various cemeteries in southern Wisconsin) were transferred to me from THIS CONTRIBUTOR. They were originally added by this INACTIVE Contributor. I am gradually working on fixing many errors & duplicates, and making corrections as I can determine. By all means, willing to transfer to family and/or others who have more information. Just ask.

Thanks so much for the permission to use the photo's/ The soldiers are: Edwin Fisk; born in Brandon, Vermont---served in the 1st Vt. Cav.
Charles Damon--- birth unknown--credited to Vt. for Civil War service, served in 23rd WI Inf.
Henry learnard---born in Fairfax, Vt----died in hospital in Montgomery, Alabama, buried in Mazonane, WI.
They each have a page on www.vermontcivilwar.org) and add things to it, as we find them. The cemetery markers will go on these pages.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "old soldiers' that had ties in Vermont. May I use the photo's that you contributed to Find A Grave memorials that are of Vt roots, service, etc/
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

I read your message to Noah, it was actually what I was thinking. Let him get to add the photos he took. I am always glad to see more people get involved. I know from my own mistakes that there is a bit of a learning curve. Dale

Yes, I could take over the family memorials if yu don't mind.
There was even a family reunion last weekend in Chippewa Falls, so I know there's a bunch of us interested in them.

I've updated my site as you suggested in case you'd like to delete yours showing burial unknown. Thanks. Kathy Hill
Just a quick message here. I thought the same thing, but it is 1869 and is correct. Dale

Thank you for your kind words. Happy I was unable to help. I don't know if you noticed but there are 2 more Zastrow's that weren't listed before. Believe it or not, but I still have about another 100 or so to add. This cemetery was much bigger than previously listed. I hope I am helping some families find their loved ones because there were a lot of old stones located there.
