Acacia Cemetery Photo Request
Hello, I am planning a trip out to Acacia Cemetery in early November. If you could contact the office at 773-625-7800 to request the location and update the memorial page(s), I'll be happy to look for your request! Thanks so much!

What a coincidence! I was just out walking at Baxter Memorial Gardens yesterday. However, I didn't see your request until today - it had been routed to my Spam folder. I won't "claim" this job, but will try to do it as soon as I can get back over there. ( :

Gordon & Doris Thilmont

When I went to the cemetery to photograph Doris' grave marker, I got a picture of her husband Gordon's as well. There was no F-A-G memorial for Gordon, so I created one. Do you want me to transfer it to you?

I phoned the office of Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery this morning (870-425-6978) and learned that her grave site is in Section 6 (Veterans'), Lot 303, Spaces 5 and 6.

Direction: Approaching the cemetery from Hwy 62, you enter at the 2nd entrance and look for a flag pole that is in the middle of Section 6, which is bounded by shrubs at the top end of this section. There is another section that also has a flag pole, so confirm by looking for the round silver-colored plates on the ground which identify the lots. The numbers run from east to west.

I will try to get out there this afternoon.
