Wow! Seven confirmations? I guess they wanted to make sure you got the message! LOL
I'm not happy with the light and shade variation with the photo. I photographed the cemetery yesterday and the sun was out full force (which is not ideal for cemetery photos). I have about a dozen or so retakes I plan to do for this cemetery when the conditions are better. Hopefully I'll be able to get shot without the light/dark variations. | | | D & J Long

Blue, First of all you make it sound like I did this on purpose. 2nd, The wrong cemetery? I had no idea about the second one. I really dont care which one you claim is the correct one! I was just adding a few names, to the cemetery from a list, which is legal with Find a Grave! All you had to say was, this is a duplicate, and these cemeteries are going to be merged. The lecture was not needed. And since you have added so many memorials to this website, I can see why you are so perfect. I will check the other names I have added. The stone read, "Carrie" and there was not a picture of the stone at first because I was not sure who Caroline was. Once I found out Carrie was her nickname, and Caroline was her given name, the picture of the stone was added to the memorial. Have a great day! | | | Gravehound Club

Your ancestor was indeed married to Barton Warren Stone Sr. They divorced sometime after the birth of their daughter Sarah abt. 1858. Barton and Francis had at least 7 children.

4. Sarah 1850, died as a child
5. Margaret 1853
6. Permulla 1855
7. Sarah 1858
Francis then married Peyton Russell on July 10, 1860. Peyton was married before to Sarah Shaw and was about 15 years Francis's senior.
Francis and Peyton had at least 3 children
1. James B Aug 8, 1865
2. Susan L. 1868
3. Mary J. 1871
In reference to the other Nicks mrried to America McGraw on the 1850 census I believe maybe a son of William Nicks,not 100% sure
of this yet,their union produced at least 5 children that I can document.

Barton Warren Stone Nicks fathered 17 children in total.
