Bio Photo Hello My name is Kathy Esterline Line. I was born in Michigan City, Indiana, and shortly there after moved to Elkhart, Indiana, where I live and attended High school at Jimtown High School. Then I met my husband Bill from a rival school, Elkhart High School. We married and in Sept. will have made it for 40 years. We were Military for 20 years and traveled to New Mexico, Florida, Montana, Germany, which we really love our visit there, and then our last tour was to Ill. were we retired and lived there til April 2001. My oldest daughter Married a nice gentleman and moved to Spartanburg, S.C. and gave us our second grandson. The 1st one lives in Bayonne, N.J. so we really did not want to miss him growing up so we followed her! And here we are. Hopefully no more moves. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Ha! Ha! Kathy

RE: Frank A Cooper
Good Morning,
I was a bit curious, so after further investigation using my Ancestry.Com account, I found that Frank's wife, Angeline, died in 1932 which would have been after the large mausoleum in the Astoria Cemetery had been built. Thus, perhaps her burial is in this structure as documented on Find A Grave. Since her husband, Frank A. Cooper, passed away so many years prior to her death, it is possible that he was buried in the Sixteen Cemetery which is in Woodland township, Fulton County, Illinois near their residence at that time. This explains why his headstone is located in Sixteen Cemetery. Their son, Frank, married my grandmother's sister, Gertrude Bloomfield. Their other son married my grandfather's sister, Margaret Stephens. Both families were owners of large farms in Woodland Township near Astoria, Illinois.

RE: Frank A Cooper
Hi Kathy,
It is named Summum Sixteen Cemetery on Find A Grave but most people living in the area know it only as Sixteen Cemetery. It is given the address as Summum, Illinois in Fulton County.
The Find A Grave memorial with photo of Frank A. Cooper's headstone is listed as being in Sixteen. His wife's memorial is listed as being in the Astoria Cemetery where she is buried in the large mausoleum there. There is a notation on her page stating that there is no mausoleum in Astoria but that is an error. I have relatives located in it also.
Did you find Frank's burial in Astoria or on the Astoria Cemetery listing document?

Mary Eliza Oaks Bixler-Oswald FAG # 52102108
I was thrilled to find this memorial with her picture on it as I have this photo in my mothers' album. She has her name as Mary E. Oswalt (sister to Henry Oswalt)(maybe this relationship is in error) with no dates posted. With the info on her Find A Grave#52102108 she is my Great Grandmother's (Eleanor Oaks Brooks Find A Grave#68321852) sister. (They sure look alike!)
How sure are you of her name on this picture?
I would love to verify this to document it on my records. Looking forward to your reply.

Frank A Cooper
Just happened to notice that there are two memorials for this in Sixteen Cemetery and the other created by you in Astoria Cemetery. Both reference Angeline Potter as spouse. There is a photo of the headstone in Sixteen. Angeline is in the mausoleum in Astoria. Are you confident he is in the Astoria Cemetery? Trying to clear up some ancestor details....thank you for checking on this.

Coopers of Astoria, Il
Just wondering if you might know where the son of Gertrude and Francis Cooper of Astoria, Il is buried? I noticed that you had created their memorials and several of the other Cooper family memorials and thought perhaps you are a relative. Gertrude was my grandmother's sister and I visited her home many times as a child.
Thank you so much for any assistance that you might provide.

RE: Edward Grant Caughey
Hi Kathy,
Edward Grant Caughey may be a cousin, but is not a direct ancestor of mine. Very kind of you to offer to transfer, but I don't need to. I found your correction because, in my quest to find the Caugheys, I decided to try to find the death certificates of as many Caugheys as possible, add them to findagrave, and then try to link as many as possible.
I am a direct descendant of Lady Jane Caughey, wife of James Stevenson, of Mercer County, PA. I have found the Caugheys to be an elusive bunch. Might have a lot to do with the name and its pronunciation.
Thanks! Betsy
